I’m Writing Again!
To say writing a novel is energy intensive is – you guessed it – an understatement.
Motivation
During the Covid shutdown I wrote a number of novels priced as low as Amazon would allow. My thinking was
- Reading for pleasure would help people keep their mind off more serious matters
As it did for me once upon a time.
- Pricing them as inexpensively as possible would help people who lost income due to the shutdown
The Toll
Working more than ten hours a day seven days a week took a toll. I seriously thought I would never write a novel again.
It took months before I could write a blog.
I couldn’t read more than a short synopsis of a news item for over a year.
Fast Forward
Or backward as the case may be.
In 2014 I was heading out on a walk when an idea popped into my heart. Life intervened so I put it to the back burner and got on with other writing projects.
Fiction and nonfiction both.
It’s Time
I was surprised to find myself recently revisiting that novel idea.
I honestly thought I’d never have the mental stamina to overcome the damage of Covid shutdown.
It was becoming difficult to ignore.
Conundrum is in the works.
Details will follow as I have them.
Nurture the dream in your heart.
