Set Up
After reading an article about Icehouse playing their 87 album live decided to listen to a tune I used to dance to in high school – Electric Blue.
My mind wandered to friends with me on the dance floor.
We loved going to Spanky’s on Fridays after a week of school – and working after school.
One friend in particular stood out not because of our relationship so much as my relationship with his parents. I imagined what I’d say to him if I were able to chat with him at this moment.
They Were Kind to Me.
It’s something I’ve found myself saying quite a bit lately.
Too often when referencing someone who passed away.
He/She Was Kind to Me.
I wasn’t treated too well at various periods of my growing years which makes it so a few people really stand out because …
They Were Kind to Me.
Without getting overly sentimental I can attest for the idea that when we’re pushing daisies what will be remembered isn’t our possessions or our titles but how we made people feel.
Treat People Kindly.
Be Well.
