That hasn’t stopped philosophers and creatives from wading into those waters and in fact the nature of Time is a central theme explored in the Metatron’s Army series.

Time is a theme in Dragon Core and the Psi Adventure series as well.
Validation
I published the Metatron’s Army series beginning in 2016. 8 years and 13 books later I came across an article that grabbed my attention because a significant plot development that gave me grief all the way back to when I was a junior in high school and still working out the ending to the series was staring me in the face.
I still had doubts about this plot development as I was publishing the series.

The resulting observatory is an engineering marvel, capable of detecting changes in distance between its mirrors that are 10,000 times smaller than the width of a proton. These fluctuations indicate that ripples in space-time are passing through.
